Default 10-15

I got something to make the yuckiness stop and the doctor wants to see me back in 2 weeks! I am a little surprised they want to see me so often so early...

I went to the pharmacy to get the meds...dropped it off at 2:45 and the lady said it'd be done at 5! I thought that was late but...went along with it because at least it was before dinner... At 4 I got hungry and started throwing up again. I kept throwing up every few minutes till 7. I sent dh to get the meds and he was gone for 30 minutes! He came back without meds and told me they had the insurance screwed up and had new computers so it'd take 2 more hours to process it....What?!! That was at 5:30 I got that news so I am sure you can imagine my reaction.......at 6 I told him to call them. They said it was ready to be picked up. He left and was gone for a hour! They had real long lines and took forever. I took the stuff as soon as it got here and sent him to get a frosty from Wendy's. I was too sore to eat anything solid and it was burning and I just wanted ice cream. He got home with it at 7:45...and it stayed in my tummy!!!

I'm sorry you're having such a rough time. I'm so glad that the meds are working.

I hope this is the solution for you.

Sounds like a typical pharmacy, unfortunately.

So very glad to hear that they are working for you. Here's to feeling like yourself again!

sounds like an issue we had here with walmart pharmacy! it took 6 hours for us to get ammoxicillian, then to be told that the other RX we'd have to wait until MAYBE tomorrow when it MIGHT make it on the truck. (this was after we called several times). i went to target pharmacy (i worked for target back home) and got it taken care of in 10 minutes. a friend of mine recently had the same issue with walgreens, only it took her 4 days to get the script.

i'm glad you were able to get the meds eventually though! i hope they're working & you're feeling better!

Uh sounds like my Walmart! They wouldn't fill my script b/c I came in 1.5hrs before closing. What is the point of closing at 10pm if you stop filling scripts at 8pm? I tell you these places are getting crazy!

I think most of them really think that the world revolves around them and we should wait for them because they give us the meds that make us okay...but what about customer service? Or just being decent! I don't get how it could take 2 hours to put 9 pills in a bag and make sure the insurance will cover it........and why in the world do you tell people it takes 2 hours to update insurance when we all know there is no reason it should take that long?! I've had them update it and get an answer from the insurance about how much they'll cover in 10 minutes. I realize they were busy but I really don't understand how it could take that long to do everyones.

oh and I am feeling better, thank you!! Last night I forgot that the doc told me not to take vitamins and I had a instant breakfast thingy and my tummy hurt...but other than that I feel better.

I still gag occasionally when the wind hits my sore throat but I am not over reacting to scents.

So glad you are feeling better now, Kara! Maybe you can start getting some rest now and feeling a little better about things. I hope it continues working for you, too!

I have had TERRIBLE trouble with Walmart, Walgreens, and Rite Aid/Eckerd. I won't use anybody but CVS now because they give me the least bit of trouble!
