Thought I would see if anybody is interested in this thread. I got the idea from another board I post on and it is kinda fun...
Pick any 15 things about YOU--random stuff, whatever you like- that you would like to share...I'll start and see where we go...

1. I'm 39 and DH is 39.
2. In our 10th year 2 gether but our 1st wedding anniv. is in May!
3. I brought 2 kids (DS 14 & DD 11) into our relationship, from previous relationships--we share them now!!
4. We have 2 cats: Mitzi and Tigger.
5. I went back to school 5 years ago and got my Teaching Cert. after being out of school since 1990!!
6. I worry about being a "good enough" mom...
7. I am an optimist and my DH is a realist.
8. I have a relationship with God, but my DH doesn't... (yet...in God's time!)
9. Some days my kids are like strangers and they drive me nuts...and other days they are the best people I know!!
10. I love egg salad sandwiches!!! (you know church buffets or showers etc. great spots for them...always go for the egg salad...yum!!!)
11. I love chewy candies...wine gums, sour jujubes, licorice..
12. I think chocolate should be a food group!!!
13. I love, love, love, to read!!
14. Ever since discovering this site (and another one), I have to "fight" my son for computer time!!! They are soooooo addicting...in a good way!!!
15. I am hoping others will like this idea and enjoy thinking of their 15 things...

Great idea, Mommy2067!

1. I'm in my 40's (isn't that close enough?)
2. DH is 4 years older than I am.
3. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and are working on #26.
4. We have 2 sons.
5. DS#1 David is 21, a junior in college and lives in his own apt.
6. We call it our summer home - it's expensive for a college apt.
7. DS#2 Joseph is 17, soon to be 18, and a senior in h.s.
8. He'll be in college in the fall, but still live at home.
9. I work full-time at the hospital as an RN.
10. I also care for my elderly parents, my other two teens, 12 and 14 (add 70).
11. They have their own apt, but right now require more care than my sons.
12. We have no pets, but my parents have a pomeranian, that I help care for.
13. So, that counts as a pet.
14. I enjoy crafts, coupons, the puter, reading, shopping.
I am learning how to hand quilt from my mother. I have made several machine
sewn quilts, but hand quilting takes much more time.
15. I love to bake, but do not like to clean. It is a necessary evil.

1. I've lived with dh for 15 years this summer.
2. It'll only be 13 years of marriage.
3. We have 3 daughters, soon-to-be 14, 12, and 8, and a 6 month old son.
4. We're animal lovers. We have 3 dogs, 2 cats, 4 rabbits, 2 birds, and 2 55-gallon aquariums as well as a 10-gallon. One of our birds is an intelligent parrot.
5. We have 3 vehicles, 2 have over 200,000 miles on them. No car payments (ever). Our minivan is a 2003 that we bought outright.
6. Our mortgage is only $385 month because I bought my parents home for only what they owed (less than 10 years). That is our only debt (until my student loans become due)
7. I'm in my 3rd year at a community college. I kept changing my mind, but it looks like in December of this year I'll finally have a degree in Computer Support Specialist.
8. I work 16 hours a week as a Medical Record Information Processing Clerk for United Health Services Community Education program. In other words-I'm a receptionist with extensive computer skills & I make powerpoint presentations for the nurses who go out in the community to educate them
9. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my dh with all my heart. He's the one for me-and I've know that since I was 16 years old.
10. I'm spoiled by my dh. He'll have dinner done and the house cleaned when I get home from school/work on my late nights.
11. My girls are wonderful (so is conner, but he's a baby, so that goes without saying!). Bobbie got a 100 on her REPORT CARD in ENGLISH! Jessica makes me breakfast in bed on weekends. Sydney takes care of her little brother so I can sleep in.
12. I like to walk and bike ride. This year I'll be walking until Conner is big enough for a seat.
13. I'm a country girl. I get intimidated by the city-although I loved my visit to NYC. You couldn't pay me to live there.
14. I love to cook for my family.
15. I would not change one thing about my life or my family. I cherish everything I have-and if there is a heaven, it's going to be my life as it is right now eternally.

1. I'm tired from work today although I didn't really do much...just a long day!!
2. I wish that winter would just give up and go already.
3. I am enjoying a cup of tea and reading posts.
4. Yesterday when couldn't get on for a while....felt sad at not being able to catch up with everyone...felt cut off from everyone..
5. Looking forward to Thurs. nite t.v.--Grey' A.(well a show about the show), CSI and ER all new
6. Also looking forward to finishing one of my books...and continuing to read the others!!
7. I think a bubble bath is calling my name later.
8. Hoping DH and I catch the eggie this month!!!
9. Although I have only been participating for a wee while now...feel like I am getting to know a few of you, hence #4....
10. Hoping I don't give in and eat some chocolate later....working on being "good"..

6. I really like my digital camera! I don't know how I've lived without one all these years.

10. I got my hair cut pretty short a while back and its driving me nuts not being able to pull it back in a ponytail. Especially on humid days when it gets frizzy!

13. I've had a toothache for 5 days and I really need to go to the dentist.

15. I need to find a dentist who will give me gas and knock me out for the entire visit.

1. I never imagined myself to be over 40, yet here I am ....
2. I've been married to my husband for 14 years this year.

Hey it is fun reading what ppl have written so far..

Here's another random 15 from me:

1. I am cramping right now...
2. I am not pg right now....
3. I had some Bailey's and Kahlua on ice with milk last nite..
4. I haven't eaten breakfast yet...not sure what I feel like..
5. My DS stayed home today b/c he got the bottom bracket of his braces yesteday and his face hurts...
6. I am going to make Shepherd's pie for dinner tonite 'cause it looks like it is going to rain...and we don't have anything to BBQ anyway!!
7. My 1st wedding anniversary is 18 days away...
8. DH and I are in our 10th year together though...
9. I am hoping we get a BFP in June!!!
10. DS is going to be 14 on the 14th!!
11. I missed ER last week so I missed the wedding of Abby and Luka...why do the channels have to mess around with the times???!!!
12. I really should be doing other stuff besides hanging out on the computer...
13. I am reading a couple of good books right now..."Heartstopper" by Joy Fielding and "The Knitting Circle" by Ann Hood.
14. I think I want some chocolate...mmm...I also bought some licorice today!!

1) My name is Christina.
2) I'm 23 years old.3) I'm mommy to Scarlet, 7 months yesterday!
3) I'd do anything for my daughter, including getting into a swimsuit to swim with her in public!
4) I have been exclusively pumping for 7 months, and I've grown to hate it.
5) I will continue to exclusively pump until my milk runs out or until DD is one year, whichever happens first.
6) Although I say I hate pumping, the thought of stopping makes me sad. I thought of stopping at 6 months, but cried so much it was easier to just pump!
7) I work as a preschool teacher and I also babysit for some of my students.
I hate the hot weather.
9) I live in California.
10) I will be TTC#2 in September.
11) My bf wants a boy, but I want another girl. Scarlet has tons of clothes that have never even been worn.
12) My bf, Patrick, and I plan to get married sometime after #2 is born.
13) I really want to buy a house, but want to wait until after we get married.
14) I am training to be a labor doula, and I am going back to graduate school this summer for a Master's in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy.
15) I think I have more fun and spend more time with my friends on Families than my real life friends. I think everyone here is really supportive and I have more in common with everyone here.
