Okay, this has happened a few times recently but all the other stores were able to fix it somehow except for my least favorite store which I went into tonight where I ended up having to void everything and leave. I have some $2 off any $10 purchase coupons which I think is somehow causing this problem. I use those first, which I probably shouldn't, but if I wait until the end I know the cashiers will say "you didn't spend $10," thinking it means after coupons. Anyway, so they'll scan that first and it goes through fine. Then all my manufacturer coupons go through fine. Then when it comes to the ECB's I'm using, when they scan them the computer tells them they can only put them in as $2.00. Of course my total is well over that amount as are my ECB"s. The other stores of course knew that was wrong and after some playing around were able to put in the correct amounts. But tonight this store said no, you have too many coupons, etc.. I didn't. So I don't know how or why, but I would assume it has something to do with the $2 off $10 coupons because I only have this problem when using those. But it doesn't make any sense. Am I totally alone here? Any thoughts? I did call customer service and he told me to go to a different store because this store didn't seem to know what they are doing. But I'm sure this problem would happen at another store as it has in the past, and I'd like to know why.
