Default 33 week appointment

I have a yeast infection (yet again!!) and bacterial vaginosis. She said that it could be because of the cerclage makes me more prone to those even though we don't ever bd Weird. So having insurance issues again but my dh is trying to work it out with them on the phone right now. They covered one medication but not the other and should have covered both. The insurance says the pharmacy screwed up the pharmacy says the insurance company screwed up....soooo yeah! tons of fun!!

She said that she would take out the stitch between 36 and 37 weeks....It's crazy how I get a different answer every single time. She's the one who put it in though so she will probably be the one who takes it out. So I have an appointment in 2 weeks and 2 weeks after that they should take it out. and....um I can't remember anything else so I guess that's it?...maybe.

Sorry to hear your insurance is being a pain, but I think that's part of thier job sometimes. Hopefully you'll get everything worked out soon. And I can't believe you're almost done!!

Hi,

what diet are you on? eat alot of fresh food, stay off anything food that would create this Yeast infection. ( Lots of Yogurt a great food source for balancing these infections.

Read diet books for pregnant woman, get advice from your dietician

Thank you but my diet is good according to my doctor. I am just prone to these infections and having the stitch in there makes it even more likely. Can't even blame it on dh lol There are other reasons for getting these infections (such as hormones)...its not always what you eat or who you bd with or what soap you use or if you take a bath or how tight your clothes are.

I was very prone to yeast infections while pregnant. Docs kept telling me it was just the hormones even though a whole slew of things could cause it. Luckily for me I have only had one yeast infection outside of pregnancy. I always have used the Equate brand 3-day over the counter treatment. Works like a charm for me. Hopefully I won't get another one considering I shouldn't be pregnant ever again.

I have similar problems with yeast infections, and I also contracted bacterial vaginmosis. I was just given and antibiotic and told the only concern the doc had would be If I didnt get rid of the infection when it came time to deliver if I still had bv they automatically do a c-section. I am having a c-section anyway so there are no concerns. The infection actually cleared up and I havent had another since about 26 weeks and Im now 33 weeks so everything is kosher for now. So dont worry to much bout the infections they are very common in pregnancy!!! Just another perk right!!!!

It's more just annoying and uncomfortable than anything....of course...being pregnant in general is pretty uncomfortable anyway. From what I understand what I feel is probably all yeast infection because most women don't feel the BV. I have the yeast cream you insert so I assume that it should feel better pretty darn quick. The other meds is twice a day for 7 days. The hardest part will be remembering!!
