We always consider a quiet library
to be a safe place for a mother and her child
to be reading books.
New Bedford Library just had a 6 yo little boy
sexually raped by an individual listed as a Class 3
sex offender ~ considered that will offend again.
His mother was just steps away at a computer
when this occured.
Very, very sad.

28th Wedding Anniv in 2009.
Blessed w/ 2 sons: age 23 & 20 in college & my elderly father 87, our 'older kid.'
That's terrible...it makes parents so paranoid to do anything but hold their babies close. It makes me not want to ever let her go but I know someday I'm going to have to. I can't imagine how guilty that mother must feel. I hope that poor boy gets the help he's going to need.
