6/27/08 My Parents' 60th Wedding Anniversary
My dear elderly parents will be celebrating their 60th Wedding Anniversary on 6/27/08!
We are celebrating all weekend!
Tomorrow they will both have a surprise dessert reception after the 12:30 PM dinner meal.
All their friends at the retirement complex are invited.
I have baked 20 different homemade desserts.
Lovely table setting with a linen tablecloth, using Mom's Candlewick for the serving platters, punch bowl, fresh flower bouquet, helium balloons with serving about 120 of their friends.
Suppertime, more family will arrive to visit for the special day.
Saturday, is a catered family meal and cake, punch, cream cheese mints. The retirement center dinner meal will also have wedding cake and cream cheese mints for dessert.
26 family members, four generations, will be attending on Saturday.
60 years is amazing!
