Exclamation A ?? about healing with C/S

As all you know I had Lucas by emergency C-Section... How long does it take for the bit of pain to go away?? Some days it is less but then others it hurts... Even when I havent done too much on my body but pack around a baby and all that lovely mommie stuff... Im still not trying to overdo myself but the pain is still there... Is that normal and Im just worring too much??? Its been a little over 5 weeks now...

With the bleeding I dont think its AF comming yet now... It went away a few days ago which was nice... It was brownish with a bit of dark red before it ended... But now when it came back today its light red almost pinkish and its usually only there when I wipe.. (I know sorry TMI) Even one time I went potty and alot of blood fell into the bowl...

I dont know if I should worry about any of this, and I would rather seek advice from you ladies before I take things to the Dr.s cause if its normal I dont want to seem like a complete fool..

What do you ladies think??? Is it normal or should I call to go in to the Dr.s right away??

Maybe you have overdone things recently, so you are having more vaginal drainage.
It takes a while for your body to heal after major surgery.

Don't you go to the OB/Gyne at 6 weeks for a recheck?

If the outside abdominal incision looks healthy (NO warmth, bright redness, drainage, gaping apart, or swelling),
no fever,
just some discomfort....sounds pretty normal to me at 5 weeks post-op.

Why not take it easy for a couple of days? I think you may be overdoing.

I have to agree with Angie. Take it easier! What you're describing sounds very normal to me as well. . .that was my experience at about 5 weeks post op and my c/s was very, very complicated. And you should be seeing your OB/GYN at 6 weeks pp so you can always ask.

Ditto. You should mention it to your doc at your 6 wk check, but sounds normal. I am still sore and if I do a lot of walking or stuff around the house then it hurts more still. I remember with my 1st CS having tenderness and achiness for a good 6 months afterwards. Just try not to over do and take it easy and see if it feels better.

See, I get this stinging feeling. It's like my scar is opening up or something. Maybe it's a tugging feeling.
