Default A diary for those special things kids say

Trying to get my grandson, 3 yr old mini sized supt. to do something my way, I told him I was the boss here. He said he was the boss. I said that he was the small boss and I was the big boss. He stood on his toes, stretched and said: "I'm the biggest boss!" Another time when visiting us he came out of the bathroom and asked "Gramma why do you have a carpet on your toilet seat?"

For our granddaughter's 3rd birthday I made up a T-shirt with a doctored photo of grandma, grampa, Barney and pals. She later asked her Mom: "The next time Barney goes to Gramma's can I go to?"

And long ago
I asked our 6 year old son about something he might have done but shouldn't have done. He replied: "I didn't see myself do it."

A little 4 yr old friend from across the backyard came to call our kids outside. I answered the door and told Billy they couldn't just now but after dinner. By this time he had his foot inside the door. "Can I come in?" - "No, come back later." - "But my Dad said I could!"

What a good idea it would be for a family starting out to keep a diary to record it all for later years.

Love the idea!! I have been keeping a diary of Tiffany's new words and her funny pronunciations of them! Also little tidbits about things she says. She is only 2 so it is fun.
