Hey I wasn't sure if you can buy items seperately and still get the ECB's. I mean like say buy 20 and get 5$ back can you do more than one transaction to get that 20$ reached and then get the ECB's? Or does it have to be in one transaction?
In the past it's never been a problem to buy the amount in different transactions. But then those words "must be purchased in one transcation" started creeping up and really it's a crap shoot now. I have had situations where it said that and I had no problem buying part in one transaction and the other in another (and the ecb printed when I completed the amount), but I 've also had times where I tried it and it didn't work, went back and returned and rebought with the entire amount and Viola! it printed!!
For most things it's been OK now. I would only be concerned if the wording the ad actually says that. If it doesn't, you could argue it if it doesn't work out.
For the $5 ecb wyp $20 this week, I have been making several seperate transactions so as to utilize 4/20, 5/30, 10/50, etc. It just keeps a tally at the bottom of the reciept and once I hit the $20 mark my $5 printed. HTH
