Default About the Girl who committed suicide because of a hoax

This is so sick.

I have to wonder how a 47 year old woman has the time to go online and pretend to be a teenage boy in order to torture a troubled 13 year old girl.

And then think it is no big deal because the girl was suicidal already.

And then file a police report for damaged property which the family of the dead girl had been storing for them and destroyed when they found out about the hoax.

What arrogance.

My DH said he would probably kill them. That at that point he'd have nothing to lose and would probably just completely lose it and go after that family.

I would imagine that I would be sorely tempted myself. I can not predict I would be as good a person as I would like to be in that situation. I doubt I could be forgiving or rational.

If a kid had pulled such a prank, it would be sad, but understandable. Kids can be mean and kids don't think sometimes. A grown woman? Who then doesn't "feel as guilty" and reports damage to her dang game table? Unbelieveable. Unconscionable.

I feel terrible that the poor girl's family is still living near them.

Having teenagers myself and as a mother,
this entire episode makes me ill.

Cannot imagine that a mother would pretend to do this
and cause this young lady to end her life.

The 47 yo woman is sick, sick, sick!

Prayers for the grieving family of the 13 yo girl.

This is I guess the "mean girl" queen bee type who at age 47 is a case of arrested development. She shouldn't be around children, let alone left to raise one.

That is absolutly horribile, also the fact that she can't be charged is sickening. My heart goes out to all of her victims families.

I guess criminal law doesn't cover this - but I hope the victims family sues these people for everything they have.

And really, you would think that child protective services should be brought into it. This nutbag is raising a teenage girl.

This would be sorely tempting. At least kicking her arse hard enough to require an ambulance.

This is an instance where I feel that a lawsuit would be justified. Since no criminal charges can be filed, the only way to get justice is to ruin her financially. Jail would be much better suited, but if it's not possible then something has to be done.

The problem with ruining the family financially is that it punishes her children. I would sue for their house, in order to make them move. I would also include their computer and a lifetime monthly stipend the cost of internet service. That might keep them from going online. They can keep the rest.

At least in prison she would not have access to a computer, or be able to continue raising her child to be a bully.
