Default absorbency issue

ok, we use gdiapers during the day and cruisers at night. we sleep about 10 hours, so we need the extra absorbency. but for the past week, DH or I are changing izzy's sheets twice a day (on average)! it's not just the sheets, it's the comforter, pillow and her monkey too! i mean it's everywhere. thankfully she has a waterproof mattress, but it rolls off the mattress and onto the floor. i would understand if it was hours into her sleeping, but it's not! she'll go to bed around 11, wakeup at 12 because her bed is soaked, then again at 2!

i don't know if she's peeing a whole lot more, or if pampers has changed their diaper absorbency. (i noticed they only give 77 diapers in a box of size 3's now). size 3s go up to 28lbs, and she's only maybe 23 lbs. with DH staying home, and me working we kinda fell off the potty training band wagon. but i'm beginning to feel like if we're bathing her & changing her sheets as much as we are, we might as well just go ahead with PT. i did a bit of research and it seems the cruisers are the most absorbent out there, but if they're not even holding one pee, then what's the point?

anybody else ever have this issue?
