My son is 7 weeks old now and we found out this week that he has acid reflux. So now is has been prescribed a couple of medications to treat the problem. I just hate the idea giving him medications at such a young age. Any suggestions from you moms out there?
I'm sure you will hate to hear him screaming from the pain worse than you will hate to give the meds. There's not a lot you can do at this age. . .are you bfing or ffing? If you are bfing, try the football hold to feed and make sure you burp after every feeding. . .even if he's asleep. If you are ffing, also try to hold as upright as possible. Also, don't let him cry.
