i went to my local Acme and They refused to accept my internet coupon. The cashier told me that they stoped taking them a while ago.. I usually use the self check out.. But didnt this time.. So i went to the web site and There are smart source coupons on the site..

I email them and get this response.

Do you take this to mean that they do take them. . ( other than freebie ones) And what should i do when they refuse to take it again at the acme..

Just print that and ask at customer service. I've never used an internet coupon at Acme, but the one I go to has a sign stating that they will take them, just not the free ones just like your email said.

The Acme near me in Mays LAnding, South Jersey does not accept internet coupons. However, the ones in Somer's Point and Ocean City do accept them.
It doesn't make sense, just makes it harder for us as consumers.
