Post Activities?

My twins are now 10 weeks old. They are growing like little bad weeds. They are starting to stay awake more and more each day. They are still too little for a lot of toys. I am not sure what to do with them when they are awake. Does anyone have some suggestions on activites I can do with both of them? I want to keep them stimulated and active.

Yep--stick them on a blanket. Play classical music. Talk to them. Take them for walks. They can't really see that well yet. . .so think auditorily.

Just take them with you whereever you go -that's plenty of stimulation. A lot of people tend to hole up at home with twins because it's harder to get them out. Just make it a point to go SOMEWHERE each day - even if it's for a walk around the block!

At this age I would usually just talk to them and sing to them a lot and talk to them whenever they are awake. If you are feeling more abitious than that you can show them large picture books and talk to them about the pictures in the book.

Thank you everyone. The weather is finally getting warmer here so we have gotten out for a couple walks. It is just so hard with two babies at this stage to try to give them a lot of attention. I talk to them all day long, but I feel bad that because there are two, I can't hold them as much as I want to.
