Well today was my first visit with the acupuncturist. It went good he asked a lot of questions I was suprised that my ob/gyn had never asked me. I got a lot of information in one shot so I didn't quite absorb it all. He told me that PCOS can be helped with acupuncture. It woln't make me ovulate like clomid but rather get everything in working order and getting all the parts of my body to work together to do what they are supposed to do. After the consult, I had some needles put in and it didn't hurt a bit! I was suprised I had expected it to feel at least like a pinch, but I really only felt the tapping as he put them in. I go back next week and turns out he lives right down the street from me, and he is going to give me some herbs that are supposed to help with fertility. Also he said based on my various symptoms that I may be lactose intoleratnt and wants me to cut out all dairy. Which I was not to happy to hear but we will see how that goes. *keeping my fingers crossed that this is the trick for us**
