Default Advice needed for tile project

The .99 store had some beautiful painted tiles and I would like to mount them over a wood paneled cabinet in the kitchen. I'd like to use some kind of strong adhesive that won't create a permanent bond like epoxy.

Do I have to go out and get a glue gun to shoot a thick layer of glue adhesive? I know that kind of glue can be pulled up.

Advice, please.

Hot glue certainly can be pulled off - but you will want to be certain that it can stick to both surfaces, and will hold the weight.

I take it that you are not applying grout to your pattern. If you were, it might be best to mount them in a frame, and adhere that to your cabinet.

They're already mounted inside a wooden frame, and useful as a trivet, hanging tile or as an insert - the way I'm using them. They just happened to fit whole inside a wide slot, and will put up a row of them.

I was thinking if not the glue, maybe tiny nails to affix them.
