Default af

My first AF after Jacobi (I had him in September) was right on schedule at 31 days... then I completely skipped November's period, and started again mid-December. Then I skipped January and just started AF again today... I only breastfed for about 3 weeks.... I don't know what is going on! I cramp really bad in my sides and back, and I only bleed for 3-4 days. I have mild dysplasia, and in November I had a coloscopy done with a biopsy, so I thought maybe that was why I skipped November, but that doesn't explain January... It sucks! Every month I think ohhh, I'm pregnant... and then I freak out, take a test, and it's negative, so I freak out even more until it comes.... It sucks.

Has anyone else had this?

it's normal for AF to be mucked up for up to a year, actually i've just gone over the 1 year mark since my af came back and it's still mucked up

After my daughter my AF didn't show up for around 3 months, and was actually on time and normal. Before that it was all over the place and irregular. Then after my second pg *the mc one* AF showed up a month later on time, but after that it was everywhere. Still not sure what is going to happen this go around, but everyone is different. You could always talk to your DR and see if they would put you on BC to get it back on schedule. *Unless you guys are trying for another one*

I'm glad you posted this so I know I am not the only one. Jack was born in Oct. and I had an AF in early Jan for only a couple of days... and that has been it. I am exclusively BFing, though, so I figured that is why. So,it must be normal, if so many of us experienc it!
