perhaps that is a good thing I think. I'm a single dad and raised my son alone. The mother is only in picture for a few hours each week. This is by her own choice. What happen lately was that she drop a bomb on my son. She wants to see him for weekends. This is a first. However communication between here and I isn't great. My only concern is that i wanted a home study don, criminal record check and child welfare check done on her boyfriend. I do have have concerns. Even though I could use a weekend here and there. Still my gut tells me to be caution. Is this wrong for me. My child is 13 and I've bascily told them that it's up to them. However these are my concerns and this was what I wanted done before they go. Do you think I'm in the wrong in asking?
