I served in the US Air Force from 1991-1998 and married my Air Force Husband in 1999. I guess you could say I've been in the Air Force in one way or another for 15 years now.

We've been to: RAF Upper Heyford (Oxfordshire, England), RAF Lakenheath (Cambridgeshire, England), Incirlik AB (Turkey), Nellis AFB (Las Vegas), Howard AFB (Panama), Altus AFB (Oklahoma), Malmstrom AFB (Montana) and are currently stationed at Buckley AFB (Colorado). If you'd like any information on any of those bases, just let me know!

Wow! My husband and I met when we were both stationed at RAF Lakenheath!
How long have you been at Mildenhall? What does your husband do? (We were both cops.)

We have been here since Feb 2005 and will be here until 2009. We are really hoping to stay overseas though as we love living in Europe. My husband is a electrical enviromental specialist (basically an electrican on the planes). We love to travel and have done so much since coming here. Though this is such a rural part of England, it is beautiful.

I know what you mean! Mark is stationed at Buckley AFB (Aurora, CO - just outside of Denver). We've been stateside since 1996 and are dying to go back overseas and stay for a while. We've put in for anything in USAFE and would really like to get back to England. The amazing thing about England is that you can live in a sleepy, little village surrounded by sheep fields and still only be an hour away from a major city like London.
