Well, yesterday (Dec. 19) was Alex's second birthday and today we had a nice party for her! It was pretty stressful to plan for, and quite the production to put on, but it was worth it in the end! She had soooo much fun and got play food and a tea set, among other things! We had lasagna, spinach salad, garlic bread, christmas treats (had to get rid of a few before I ate them all!!!), bruschetta, spinach and artichocke dip... It was all homemade and so so good! (Thank god for leftovers!)
The only bad part was that our only rule was that NO ONE was to go upstairs, and first thing that happened when guests got here was that everyone wanted to go upstairs and see Devon's room. (Most people haven't seen it.) No one respected our request not to go up there. The entire upstairs was a TOTAL disaster! A complete, embarrassing mess. Our drop zone for everything that was downstairs... I was sooo angry! Just another thing to stress me out.
But all in all, the party was fun and Alex had such a good time! Now my baby girl is Two!!
