I think that this year we are having the worst summer i can remember, it rains every single day and it's not even warm either, the kids have to stay inside and are getting bored out of their minds. It's really starting to affect my humour also i feel like i'm getting depressed without the sun . And to add to it we should get rain for the whole week . Anyone else affected by the lack of sun?????

YES! I haven't missed the sun because it is hiding behind a rain cloud, but because it is too hot to enjoy the sun here . I moved from Missouri to Texas 2 months ago. It gets hot in the midwest but it is usually bearable until at least noon. Then the kids can go to the park or the back yard for most of the morning. Plus it is rather humid in MO so that makes the heat feel different somehow.

Now we are in TX and it is over 90 degrees before 10 am and usually reaches 100 or more in the early afternoon. The kids aren't spending ANY time at all out doors and it is driving me (and them) crazy! The only time they are out is if we go swimming. Luckily my SIL has a beautiful swimming pool in her back yard but we can't spend every single day over there. So, we sit in the house a lot. Or go to the library or the mall and just walk around. It stinks.

I hope your rain clouds blow away soon so you can get out and enjoy yoour summer.

i tell ya i don't know which is best, to hot or too rainy.... it just sucks

Oh so we're the ones soaking up all your sun.

Give me a little rain anyday. The sun has been beating down on us with hot weather advisories left and right. Its sooooo HOT I'd swear the devil moved into town!

You can come here for awhile. So far we've had lots of sun and its hot and humid..but the pool is great...when my apartment has it open!!

we've had almost 3 weeks straight of rain, we get a glimpse of the sun here and there but it rains every single day. I'm sick of it frankly.....
