Default Allergies and Amazement!

Well, Emma has developed an allergy to strawberries, or anything flavored strawberry. She breaks out in blistery red splotches, has nasty bile-ish diharrea (sorry...TMI), and a low grade fever. It doesn't itch, and she's her happy self! I gave her Benadryl, as the ped recommended, and she bounced off the walls the whole night she was home with my husband while I was at a meeting at church (Oh bummer... I missed 3 hours of going crazy and running EVERYWHERE...!!!!). I had forgotten that that was the side effect for most kids at that age with Benadryl, and that she had had a crazy hyper experience with it last year. Well, I'm glad it's over!

On top of that, I was amazed at her today. I was reviewing letters with her on her Doodle Pro - I write the letter, she says what it is. Well, I told her (not thinking she would do it) to write an O. She did it... Wow... I told her to write a D. SHE DID IT TWICE!!! Then, she wrote a T!!! I'm amazed that my 23 month old daughter can do that! I just had to share that. I never even thought of her REALLY writing it. I just thought it would be cute to see her try. But she wrote them perfectly! Honest to goodness!!!! I'll try to post pictures next time...
