Default Alyssa's two year checkup

She still healthy as can be! (no surprise there-she has only had two colds and one earache)

She's 38lbs 6oz and 37 1/2 inches tall. I know, she's very tall for her age. There were two 3 year olds in the waiting room and she was as big, if not bigger than them. I'm 5'4" and her dad is about 5'7", so I have no idea where this height is coming from!

I took her assessment from First Steps so they could make a copy for her file, and the ped. recommended another program. Knights of Columbus does it. They are studying different stages of (pre)autism right now, and my ped. would love for Alyssa to get in on it. He made some phone calls while we were there, and bypassed the 6 month wait for me!!!!!!! How nice was that?! If Alyssa's ped. is excited about a program that could benefit her, well I'm excited too! And this is great, because if you remember me talking about my ped. before, you'll know I'm frustrated because he refuses to acknowledge autism before the age of 3. He let me know that he believes me now, and is going to help. I could just cry, that is such a wonderful acknowledgement! Early intervention is key!

Anyways, just wanted to update everyone about my big girl!

Oh and her birthday party is tomorrow!
