Default How long?

How long after a c-section can you sit in a whirlpool??

My best answer would be to wait until your 6 week check-up w/ your OB/Gyne.

Your incision needs to heal and not have any germs introduced into the incision. That could cause it to break open.

I was discharged at 6 weeks with my other three. For this pregnancy I went to a different doctor who I wont see until 8 wk pp. I am 6 wk pp now.

Then wait until your 8w pp. You really need to have your incision checked on by your doctor before you can take a bath, sit in a whirl pool, enjoy normal 'married activities' etc.

Agreed... have to be cleared by the dr first. Better safe than sorry.

Yup--wait until the Dr. I had a vaginal delivery and wasn't even allowed to take a "regular" bath until my checkup (which was yesterday).

BTW--your little Elijah was born the same day as my DD

Really??? My doctor encouraged me to take baths! Just no bubble soap.
