Default Anybody else have trouble w/ Banana Boat offer for April?

Hi there,
My first post. I lurk here from time to time & find it a good source for valuable bargain hunting info. Here's my dilemma:
I submitted my rebate receipt online a few days ago & got an email back from Walgreens today stating that "...while your receipt information is valid, it does not include any purchases that qualify for a rebate at this time." I wonder if it's from the Banana Boat offer. The cash register didn't recognize it at first. It wouldn't scan so the cashier input it as a manual entry (which I knew the rebate processor would reject). So I had that one cancelled & went back & picked out something that scanned correctly. I bought one bottle for $9.99 & one for $10.49 on the same receipt, although I don't think them being on the same receipt was required. I'm no newbie to rebates. I've been couponing/rebating for over ten years. Anybody else having these problems?

Quick update to report that I've gotten an email confirmation of my rebate having been processed by Walgreens & that they gave me credit for everything that they should have. I don't know why I got the email earlier that said there was a problem. Must have been a fluke, I guess. Anyway, I'm happy & I'll get my check soon.

I think they have a bug in their system. I got the same Email for the April Rebate and for the May rebate after submitting receipts online. The April one has been processed for the full amount and I expect the May one will be fine too. But it is definitely a reason to save your receipts!

Thank you, ljb. Good to know. I won't worry if it happens again seeing as how it's happened to someone else.
