Default Anyone else with script problems?

I haven't been to families in a couple of months. Now when I try to get into the forums like cooking and families stuff, my computer "locks" up. Eventually, I get a message which says something like- "there is a script on this page causing IE to run slowly. If it continues your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to stop this script? " this happens EVERY time I try to go into every thread. Is anyone else having this problem. It takes 3 or 4 minutes to load one page!

We have experienced some issues with IE8 I beleive.

Can you tell me what platform, browser and an example of a url where you'd see this error please?

The techs like to have everything so they can look into the errors for you.

I'm having the same problem. I can't get onto the site at home, only at work. When I try at home the site freezes.

Yes, I have IE8 loaded on my computer. If I open a forum like the cooking forum. The page loads but my cursor is frozen and the page remains unresponsive for 2 or 3 minutes. I then get the pop up I mentioned. I respond yes. Ican see the page and move up and down the pae. I choose a thread and the whole process starts all over again.

By the way, when I chose the advanced options to submit this reply, the same thing happened. I have waited for the page to stop being non-responsive and then chose Yes to the stop script pop up.

I was having severe problems with Fam.com too and was off for quite a while.

Finally got Chrome Google downloaded & functional. That is the only way I can now view Fam.com

Good luck!
