Default Anyone into salads? What salad are you unable to resist?

My mom was a weight-watcher's believer so I picked up many of their hints. My favorite was the everything salad. We go to restaurants and get lettuce, tomato, a few shreds of cabbage and a slice of cucumber if we're lucky and think that's what a salad should be. But try theses ingredients : pea pods, radish, mushroom, broccoli, cauliflower, carrot peels, zucchini, chives, raddiccio, spinach, several types of lettuce, craisins, raisins, fruit and you have a feast.
Any other combination or ingredient I missed?

Panera has this asian sesame chicken salad Im an addicted to. It has spinach, fried noodles, chesnuts and chicken with this sweet dressing. If only I could make iot at home. Actually I bet i could make it at home if I could figure out what dressing they use.

Another good salad is cole slaw with a minor variation. Chop cabbage and carrot finely and mix together. Use a light poppy seed vinaigrette as a dressing. Add onion if you desire.

That sounds so delicious! I wonder if you can find the recipe on-line at KopyKat?

I love sugared almonds on a salad. See my blog on how to make them here. I also like to have a little grilled chicken or cooked egg whites on a salad to get a little protein so it sticks with me longer. Also, garbanzo beans and kidney beans.

I LOVE the restaraunt Sweet Tomatoes. I think it's refered to as Soup Plantation in some states. It's a salad buffet restaraunt and they have their own specialty salads. I like the Oriental Chicken Salad there.

Wendy's Asian chicken salad. I try not to put the noodles on and I think the dressing sometimes upsets my stomach but it's hard to resist.

I had the Asian chicken salad at McDonald's and was pleasantly surprised. It was good, especially with the edamame. Not something you expect to get at McDonald's.
