I've found the seeds, but I'd like to have a starter plant to place in the ground. I've looked at one local nursery and a number of other places, but can't find any at all.
I'm interested in the red ones like, ehm, in the Wizard of OZ. Ever since I saw the film for the first time, my eyes dazzle whenever I see them. Plus, I think they'd be great for attracting hummingbirds which I'm working on now. Any suggestions?
There's two kind of red poppies. One is the oriental and the other is called the Flanders Poppies. Try www.dutchbulbs.com for von Bourgondien which has the oriental poppies and I think Wayside Gardens or Parks Seed may have the Flanders Poppies.
