My husband and I are still waiting for our China adoption. We have been waiting for 2 years now, and expect to wait at least 2 more.

We haven't been matched yet, over there, they go by "log in date." They are currently working on February 2006, while we are September 2006. We wait, we really don't have much of a choice. I have accepted the wait is what it is. We have also been trying for a concurrent adoption, 2 have failed, and we are still waiting to hear back on the 3rd one.

i cant believe they would make people wait so long while so many children sit in foster care and orphanages. its a shame...but congrats to you for waiting and helping out a child in need!

how do you find out where they are in the processing? My girl friend has been waiting since feb/march2006.

They have their reasons for why the wait is so long. Who knows. You used to be able to log into the CCAA website and they had the dates posted, now you just have to find the rumor pages. Most agencies send out what dates were referred to waiting families too.
