Default anyone with pets?

are they getting protective? DH's dog (german shepard/lab? mix) will not let me go anywhere without him! izzy & i were taking a bath and sure enough Banner was RIGHT there, leaned against the tub.. his face in mine. the past few nights he's been getting on the bed and watching me until DH comes in. but last night, DH came to bed at the same time as me & was goffing around by taking up the ENTIRE bed. Banner comes running in, jumps on the bed & sits ON DH and just stares at him... followed by nudging to move DH over.

any other pet stories?

Our pet dog Boo isn't very protective, he has a favourite, but he doesn't push people out the way as he knows he is to behave. Our working dogs however do get very protective, but they are trained to obey so they will follow you everywhere.

my dog barks at me when I try to take my daughter from my husband. I don't understand it. She doesn't bark at my husband. She is getting a little better though... she only does it once in a while now.

The dog I had as a teenager with my parents would climb onto the couch with me when I was pg with DD, and never did that!! Even when my dad who would smack her butt for it was amazed when she did it right in front of him. With my DS pg our first dog *who was hit&killed 3wks before his birth* would sleep with her head on my tummy or curl around it. And 2wks before my DS was born we got a new dog that wouldn't let DH near me!! She would growl and bark at him everytime. Even tho she's all talk... She's still very protective of me and the 2 kids, but she finally warming up to him.

Dogs are great!!!
My dog didn't seem to bothered about things when I was pg.
But she sure loves the girls.
The other dog doesn't seem to care too much but she is a little nuts!!!!
Sierra, the one who loves the girls, is very protective about people coming to our house. She gets VERY aggressive about people unless we tell her it is ok!
