Default Are risks lower now?

I had an u/s yesterday and heard the Heartbeat for the 1st time I nearly started crying. Baby is measuring on target so I go back in 2 weeks time again. So my question is this ladies does the risk of a miss drop really low?

congrats on hearing the heartbeat! There is nothing better. Well, besides holding your little one
From what I remember, the risk of miscarriage drops when you enter the second trimester (around 12 weeks). But again, its been awhile since I have done the reading on pregnancy . But try not to worry about it, just relax and enjoy the pregnancy.

Congrats on hearing the HB - very exciting!! I have to agree with Dani- most m/c happen in the 1st trimester. But don't worry about it too much - you're just a few weeks away from your 2nd trimester anyway!! Enjoy it all!

The risk of a second trimester miscarriage is lower than that of a first trimester. There are a lot of things that play into that factor though. Most importantly, do like the others have said and don't worry about miscarriage as much and dwell on the fact that you have a healthy baby.
