slightly embarrassing
Ok ladies, I know almost all of us has to go through this.
Today I did my weekly ritual of plucking my eyebrows and the hair above my lip. It hurts!!! I do it once a week and I am fed up with the pain! The eyebrows aren't too bad, i can handle that, but the upper lip area is horrible!!! I used to use dipilatory cream, but i found that it didnt work very well and i had to go behind it to pluck anyway. I am scared of waxing because i always hesitate before i pull and mess it all up. I am not a terribly hairy person, just normal. What do you ladies do? If you use a dipilatory cream, what brand do you use? Are you satisfied with the results? Thanks in advance for the input!

i have thought about that to stop it once and for all, but from what i read, it hurts, it takes multiple rounds to get results, and it must be done by a doctor (making it quite pricey). does anybody here have any experience with laser hair removal or electrolosis? are you satisfied with the results?

Well i went for laser for my armpits and i just love it, no more hair to shave and it's all smooth. I took about 7 times and it lasted about 5 minutes max...here in Canada we don't have to go to doctors for that only beauty salons and it cost me 300$..

My mother and sister convinced me to shave above my lip and that works great. Were italian so we have lots of dark hair and it doesnt grow back darker or thicker. It works great for us.

Nad's was the best thing I've found for my eyebrows. Not sure about lip area though! It requires no heating..rinse the sheets in cold water and everything comes off. And its all natural-you can eat the stuff! I tried it. Kind of sugary lemony...

my aunt says that she shaves it, and that it doesnt grow back stubbly. in the research i have been doing about this, some websites say it is ok to shave and others say never to do it. maybe i will look into the laser, or maybe electrolosis. thanks ladies for sharing!!
