I went to the E.R. last night. I dont know why but the new dr I saw said if I had any cramping to go to the E.R. and she would consent to an earlier ultrasound. Well I went to the E.R. because I had tons of cramping off and on all day. They did blood tests and then came in and took even more blood. Then they took a UA with a STRAIGHT CATH!!!!! OUCH!!!!! They never did an ultrasound while I was there but I do have it tomorrow instead of friday. I am waiting on my Dr to call me back because the ER dr made it sound like miscarraige was inevitable but kept telling me everything was ok. I am so confused by it all. The ER told me to see my dr about getting earlier prenatal care and getting on progesterone suppositories. So I went to my Drs office this am to find out he is delivering a baby (yay) and still no call two hours later. I have three big bruises now one from Friday and two from yesterday.

Oh Kristin I so hope everything is ok. I know cramps are normal the first few months but with your history the Dr. was right to be safe vs. something happening. I hope everything goes ok at the u/s tomorrow. keep us updated.
