Avon
I have sold Avon for several years - I enjoy it very much, and it sells itself. Any other Avon representatives out there? Anyone looking to buy or sell Avon? Check out my Avon website, or contact me.

how does avon work? do you buy inventory and then resell it? do you just take orders and then avon provides you a percentage of the sale?

Outstanding!
I've always wanted an Avon Lady!!!
I knew I could buy from the main Avon website but that just seemed wrong when there were people out there trying to make a living selling it themselves.
THANK YOU!

You can order through my website or e mail me your order. Or, you can go through the avon website and enter my info and they give me credit - they figure I will be advising you about the products, and they are right.
How does Avon work? The representative generally places the order - you don't have to maintain an inventory. However, Avon has several specials for representatives where you can stock up on items that are hot sellers - that way you always have them, and your customers don't have to wait the two week "campaign" period. Also you can then sell at fairs or flea markets, or give parties. It is really up to you.

I sell Mark! For those of you who don't know; Mark is the sister company of Avon. I like it a lot! I am having troubles since I moved, but it's okay since I don't have any quotas or stuff like that. They have some awesome products too!

I sold Avon for 6 yrs- quit in 1998. I had fun & was a top seller in my area (was #2 in my district for 5 yrs straight plus was into Leadership). Chances of me doing it again are slim to none but I did have fun doing it.

I've heard of Mark. It is marketed to a younger crowd and the business opportunity is targeted toward students. It is a brilliant idea for Avon to come up with!

I have thought of selling it. But it seems kind of involved. I guess you would have to build up a clientele just like any other beauty profession. The extra money would be nice. Is it hard to get started?

I just started about a month ago and am doing pretty well so far. I started with mark but no one wanted to buy it, so I switched to avon and it sells itself. I haven't really done much with it, just sold to family mostly, but have still done pretty well. I am really doing it for fun, but the extra money is nice.

I'm surprised to hear so many people having positive experiences with Avon, since Mary Kay was a total disaster for me. What do you guys think makes Avon a better business opportunity?
