Ok, I want to jump in on this thread.
I too suffer from this Baby fever.
I had my first son when i was very young and there was no baby fever after him. I met my husband when Anthony was 3 and very soon after i was pregnant, cant say i was upset but it was not expected. Zachary was born and almost right away i got the baby fever, we decided to wait 5 years to try for a girl. (8 months later) I was pregnant with Maleah, I did want to get pregnant, i had the fever but was willing to wait, she had other plans for us... so here i am with a 10 year old son, 6 year old son & a spoiled little girl who will be 5 in june. And i am haveing some serious baby fever, I know we dont need any more , we only planned on what we have but what is making me want to become pregnant so bad? I feel like every month i have the urge then when my "friend" come i am happy. ( we do use protection so the chances are not great any how ) But here i am again another month , should be starting any day , my girls swell and i kinda wish i was pregnant. I breast fed all three, could my swelling trigger something. I dont know i just really wanted to vent and well dont really have any one to vent to. I should add we just moved into a way bigger home with alot of land in a way better school zone and it seems all the moms around me have new babies.....

Thanks for listening

Angel

Unhappy EXTREME baby fever...

I've been having MAJOR baby fever. My hubby and I "started" trying to get pregnant when he got home from Iraq in April but we're not really trying hard enough. Every month that I get my period it hurts a lil more inside, it's such a disappointing event each month cause it means that I'm not pregnant. Sometimes I wonder if my hubby really wants to be trying right now, he already has three from a previous marriage and we have our daughter. He swears that he really wants us to be pregnant again but sometimes I doubt his committment to the process. What makes me even more upset is that I live in a military town (being that my husband is a Marine) and I work at a place that pregnant women come into every single day and half of them aren't even taking care of their bodies or their babies inside, I see them outside smoking and it makes me sick. It makes me wonder why they are luckly enough to have such a blessing and not be taking care of themselves but I want to be pregnant more than anything in this world and I'm not. I had the healthiest pregnancy ever, the easiest labor and delivery, I hope I'm a good mom and yet I'm not getting anywhere. It was so easy to get pregnant the first time around, we weren't even trying and it just sort of happened. Why does it always seem like when you're trying it doesn't happen for you and when you're not it does?

for me it isn't really a fever either, more a longing dream. use to always hurt me when af came (even before i was sexually active) cos it was another little eggy that didn't get a chance to become a baby. i love Gabby and love having her in my life, she is so delightful, but i miss being pg and long to be TTC again, but i know the time will fly by so in the mean time i'm going to enjoy as much of Gabby growing up as i can. kind wary about having another one anyway, atm i can spend all my time and energy on Gabby; Gabby is too little now to make much mess so there isn't that much housework but when the second one comes there will be Gabby to look after as well as the baby plus all the housework and all i want to do is spend the same amount of time and energy on the baby as i am with Gabby but at the same time i don't want (nor should i) push Gabby aside plus i don't want to lessen the time and energy i do spend on her

Baby fever for me is a constant , I can honestly say I think about pregnancy all the time, it took us 2 1/2 years to fal this time and it was sooo hard ,all I wanted was to be pregnant and everyone I knew seemed to be getting there befor me, this is my 7 th baby soI guess I 'm luckier than most but believe me for some of us it is along term addiction! Baby dust to all who need it

Talking Baby Fever!!

Seems like everyone here is already a MOMMY and looking for more..I am the opposite.I am having a BABY FEVER FIT! Waiting to have my first child is such a hard thing to do. I express to my boyfriend how I'm feeling and we even read about BABY FEVER. He understands but he is away playing college basketball so we both know the time isn't right. I just cant help it. the feeling gets so strong sometimes I start to pick out names and I'll go to the store and look at clothes and toys. Seems so pathetic to me..Anybody in this boat?

I have had baby fever for the last 2 years, mainly because I met my new husband and we both have kids from our first marriages. They are both about grown...so the thought of starting over again is exciting and really scary! I would love to have children with him. But I will leave it in God's hands!

Melissa I did not read the dates....You really scared me for a second, I wondered how ai missed that announcement!
I had it really bad after Court turned 1, I knew we wanted to try once more, and it was all i could think about. But that was one good thing about the IUD there was no forgetting bc. After this one is 2 or so, we may think about it again. We will have to see how the fever is
