I am soooooo excited!! Last week my next door neighbor called to tell me that her daughter was giving her bedroom furniture away if I wanted it. (she knew I hated mine and loved hers) It is a king size headboard with footboard and 2 nightstands and a armoire and a long chest of drawers!!! I love it! I was so excited to get it, and for free!!!!!
So then dh said well we'll just use our old stuff for the baby, except still have to buy a crib. (I wasn't thrilled cuz I hated the old stuff, but $$ stinks so whatever)
Well, today I went shopping with my sister (the Queen Shooper of all time) and we were in Marshall and they had a baby bedroom furniture by Simmons- it was their cambridge mocha set. The crib, originally $400 was on clearance for $70!!!!!!! and the Armoire to match, originally $400 was also $70!!!! I couldn't beleive it! So, I got it. My sis gave me $50 towards it as an early baby gift, and my wonderful neighbor drove all the way there to pick it up for me. I am so so so happy!!
Now I get to get rid of my old bedroom furniture and it won't haunt me anymore.
Sorry so long, but what a week!!
Tommorow I am going to call every marshalls in a 50 mile radius to see if they have the changing table!! Wish me luck.
