Default baby games

Hi Everyone. I have a son (Cameron) who is 7 months old. I'm finding this stage a little difficult because I'm not always sure what to do with him. He spends a lot of time playing with various toys...by playing I mean banging them together, shoving them in his mouth, examining them...that sort of thing and we sing songs and read books (reading = him trying to eat the book ). We go to the park almost everyday to play on the slide and swings and we do have play dates with other babies around his age atleast a couple of times a week. However, I feel like I am not interacting with him enough, he seems just as happy to play by himself as he is to play with me (apparently shoving things in your mouth is a one person kinda game ) Anyway, wondered if anyone could offer any ideas of games to play with him or things to do with him, that would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

When my kids were that age I had some puppets I would play with them, or little insturments like bells or marakas they can shake and then you can dance together! There are some great online toy stores where you just type in the age and they show recommendations of games or toys, you might check there!

Sometimes when we run out of things to do. We just take a moment and talk.
It doesn't matter if he doesn't understand me. .

Search for baby games on Google - Fisher Price has a good site. You can also check out our *link removed by moderator* site for some ideas - all free
