Default Baby girl question

.If you touch Kenzie's nipples they feel like they're hard. If that makes sense. Like little hard balls underneath. I keep meaning to ask her pedi. He's felt her chest and never mentioned a concern.
Is this normal? Or should I make an appt(next well baby isn't until 1 year).

I just checked on babycenter cause I couldn't quite remember and read that it is probably just little milk glands...can happen on boys and girls...it should disappear after a little while...hope that helps a wee bit, Lisa..perhaps somebody else will have added or more in depth info...

T had one on one side for a while, pedi said it was normal and would go away......benine cyst-like thing. And it is gone......in fact I had forgotten about it till you mentioned it!!!
Don't worry.

perfectly normal - Reagan has them and she's only 7 months old. It's the hormones in their bodies that are making them "hard" like that. I would only be concerned about it if there was any kind of unusual discharge.

Breasts are glands, even in infancy, and if there is congestion, swelling or hardness, it can indicate the need for treatment. I am a Doctor of Homeopathic Medicine and I've treated this condition in a small number of babes successfully. Let me know if I can be of any assistance to you.

Erin had the hard boo*s when she was little too and the ped. said its normal and comes from hormones.
If i remember correctly she was like 1 1/2 when i noticed that they were not hard anymore.

Bit late answering here lol, but my niece has the same thing... you'd swear she was getting bb's! It's a non-issue... SIL has asked the dr and it's very common and totally normal.
