Default Baby Room

What are creative ideas you have seen for a baby's room?

Not excatly a new ideas but we used and ultra white light gray paint from seras and the border was plaace at about 4 to 4◄1 ft. the border was of a panda bear and beach balls large wide border and we were able to use the primary colors and black and white to pull things out. what a cute room and was good for my son until about age 7.
You can always do the faux painting. I've seen names stenciled arond the room the child name was Victoria so they used various spellings and dimunitives of the names in different script

My son room was very small but had a beautiful skylight which lightened and brightened it. I painted the entire room a very pretty light blue water color and free hand painted sea turtles swimming on the ceiling with fish and coral on the walls. It turned out great and when you walk into his room it feels like your standing underwater watching the turtles swim by overhead. Its great for the baby because he has different things to look at and focus on in different parts of the room.

Those both sound like great ideas! When we adopt our son, we're doing his whole room in Teddy Bears! I painted the room and bought a crib set almost 2 years ago when we thought we could get pregnant. The room is a pretty sage green. We're going to try to put shelves all along the upper part of the wall to sit Teddy Bears and other stuff on. The room is small, so we need some creative storage.

Three dimensional rooms are fun and there are lots of projects you can do yourself.

A common idea is to paint the room sky blue and paint on clouds. To take this idea a step further and add a dimensional element, add fluffy clouds made from fiber-fill (like you would use to stuff pillows) instead of just painting them on. Glue fiber-fill to stiff fabric, craft wood, poster board, or foam core and hang the clouds radomly. This project is fun, easy, and it doesn't cost a lot to do.

A friend of mine just decorated her baby's room with Kathy Ireland's collection "Thank You Baby." It is THE MOST ADORABLE room I've ever seen. You have to take a look at Kathy's brand
