Default Baby tooth

My twins are 5 and a half years old. They are fraternal and one is about six inches taller, 15 lbs heavier, and has always reached every milestone first--before her twin sister. She even calls her "little sister" even though she is only two minutes older. The little one has been complaining a lot lately about being little and doesn't want to be.

Well, the little twin lost her first tooth last night, and it was quite a big deal at our house, especially since the bigger twin has not lost one yet! She was so excited and she got to be first at something finally, so I think it was just what she needed to help her realize she is growing up just as much as her twin sister is, regardless of who is bigger, or who is better at something.

Those little mile stones are so important! We take our family out for Pizza Hut with the first lost tooth! I swear my son deliberately wiggled his for forever to get it loose.
