I would say the going rare would be around $9.00-$11.00 an hour. All of are family lives around us so I have never had to pay anyone to watch are kids. Yet! Lol.
I would assume rates differ from place to place BUT
TO me it seems logical that you pay more for the more children you have and the younger they are. My 7 yo is not nealry as difficult to watch as one of the twins. I would not, in a gazillion years pay someone $11/hour to watch my 7yo and 5yo. Even in New York City. Of course I'm not wealthy either-
