I have NO idea where to post this so I am just going to post it in this section.


Anyways,

A friend and I were discussing Twins and how they, well, happen! I have a very good change of having them since it runs in my family for faternal twins. I know that its up to the FAMALE to produce 2 eggs in order to be able to conceive twins.

BUT, my friend says it doesnt matter if the mother has 2 eggs or not, it has to depend on if twins run in the Fathers side as well..


I tried telling her that it depends on the father for identical twins as that is 2 sperm in 1 egg and the cells dividing, but she keeps ARGUING that the father is reliable for identical AND faternal...

Please help me out here, Its getting in my head
