I have a dilima.
My Dad is pressuring me severly to have mt son Baptized ASAP! Yes I do want to have my son Baptized. But I would like to wait untill my son is old enough to know what it means. At 2 yrs old he dosen't know what excepting Jesus as his Saviour is.


I believe that he should know what it is all about.We have been going to Church every weekend and my kids both attend Sunday school and they are both learning.I am also still learning. But I think that it should be my decision. And when my family thinks it is time we will have it done.I am just so upset that my dad is upset with me because we are not doing it when he wants.


My dad asked me "What if something happens to Ethan before he is Baptized? " My response was " He will go to Heaven, He is just a child he has commited no sins."


We had my DD Baptized when she was 8mo old. That was before I was attending church regularly. I was also pressured into doing that.


My Dad goes to a Lutheran Church and I am going to Presbyterian. I don't know if there is a difference in beliefs. I am going to have my son Baptized I really believe that he should be. I just wish my Dad would understand!
