Default Best & Worst Points & Rewards Programs

What are the best points/rewards programs that you have belonged to and recommend that they rest of us should use? Which ones are just a waste of time?

Default Are we the only nuts?

Are we the only nuts that sign up for these programs? We get good rewards from Ace Hardware, Staples, Office Depot, Fred Meyers, and QFC. We're in the Rite-Aid plan, but don't usually get anything much back. It seems to only gives us a break on the Rite Aid line of non-prescription drugs. Safeway is worth it to get the breaks on their bulk products and specials. Most of these work country wide so just by providing our telephone number we often get the special without having the card on hand.

CVS is where I get my best rewards - This past quarter was $6
I have also done well with mypoints.com (especially when I remember to shop 'through' it)

I have done very well with www.mypoints.com . I also do well with Hallmark Cards, CVS, and Kroger. Kroger gives 10cents off each gallon of gas up to a full tank when you spend $100. They give 3 cents off just for using the card at the pump. With gas prices as crazy as they are, every little bit helps.

Has anyone else done well with some other website online? I would like to find another one to follow.

I loved my Barnes and Noble Mastercard, because I got $10.00 gift certificates whenever I charged a certain amount. I got a lot of Christmas and birthday presents using those certificates. Unfortunately, they discontinued the program, but I noticed that Borders is now offering a credit card with similar benefits. I'm signing up!

I like the Discovery store - they mail you a $10 off certificate you can use online or in store after spending $100 or $150. I got two certs last year and then I found out you cannot save portions of the cert and they did not count it towards shipping, but still it was good as it is free.
Also the Borders rewards that gives you a discount after you spend so much money. I use the rite aid program for shopping but only get a buck or two each month. I see walgreens has something similar I have yet to use.

Obviously I spend WAY too much time online because regular reward programs never crossed my mind! I was thinking of mypoints (which is pretty good).

I like mypoints, and yes, I have had good experience with cvs and with staples. I had terrible expereinces with memolink, as they took forever to redeem their points. Upromise is great too.

I like Mypoints and CreationRewards (www.creationrewards.net) very much.

CreationRewards offers 3 points per dollar for Ebay's win. You need to remember to go though their site to bid or do buy-it-now though. After you win the purchase, you need to forward the information (I usually forward Paypal inovice or winning email from Ebay) to them with your CR membership number. You can start redeeem points at 1000 points level for $5 Amazon, etc. They send (email) rewards very quickly for Amazon codes. I have never tried to get something else other than Amazon codes, so I don't know more about shipping time for regular gift cards.

Default New Rewards Program

My husband, who recently returned from Iraq, and I just started this rewards site to support the troops - www.mytroops.com. There are currently almost 40 merchants, but we are adding more every day. If you are in the military, you can earn rewards for yourself; if not, you can earn rewards for a troop of your choice. Please check it out.
