HI All! I am new here. I really like this forum! Have a kind of different situation and would like your opinions on it. A little backround, my DH grew up in the Presbyterian church (father is a presby minister). I grew up in a Christian and Missionary Alliance church. Just a few docterinal differences between the two. After getting married, DH started going to my church. About 2003 he decided to switch to the presby church (he was/is going to school to become a Chaplain in the Army and it would be easier through the presby church). I felt led to stay at the church I grew up in. I love the pastor and the worship, I have grown alot in the Lord in this church. There are certain docterinal things that (in the presby church) go against my convictions. DH and I are ok with this situation, but MIL is very upset with it (we live with ILs right now). Our oldest and 3rd DDs go with DH and our 2nd DD and our son (our youngest) go with me. Opinions? Thanks!
