I finally broke down and took Kaydee too the doc today...she has a sinus infection and ANOTHER ear infection! Apparently the ear wax is crusted on her right tube and causing it not too work properly. If it doesnt clear up with the drops and antibiotic she will need a new set of tubes Thats not that worst

Since she will be one tomorrow my doc asked how many words she is saying.....well, just one. Yes, this is normal for an almsot one year old (who was a preemie) BUT at her 9 month check up she was saying 5 words. Now its only one. So she has regressed. She doesnt even say mom anymore and she said that alllll the time.

My doc said that if she doesnt start talking again in the next 2 weeks then she wants her to see a developmental specialist.


I think shes fine...although my confidence is shaken when I think about it. She does strange things sometimes...I might jsut be thinking too much into it. She IS the youngest...we DO baby her...shes always sick so we have no other choice. But (Not to compare apples to oranges) Jae was saying 50 words by her 1st bday.....ugh. I know she is thinking autism....im jsut worried I guess....
