TMI in the first paragraph......
I went in at 6 am to get ther cerclage out at the hospital. The doc didn't come in till 7 am and started then. She tried many different methods to open me up but my girly parts kept going inbetween the instruments of massive destruction (that normally they use for pap smears and usually don't hurt) She had many different people in the room try their own ideas.....in the end one person was holding the metal thing and one person had their hands holding my girly parts back on one side and someone else was holding them back on the other side and she clipped the stitch! I thought it would never end....but it was over by 8:45 am. She then said she thought I had a yeast infection but never gave me meds for it...and said my cervix was dilated to 3 and baby was at -1.

I had contractions all day and got checked 2 more times still at 3 and -1....so they moved me out of L&D to be monitored somewhere else...I continued to have contractions all evening and at 11 pm they gave me ambiene to sleep. I woke up at 5 am with contractions and the doc came to check my cervix at 8 am. She said it was between a 4 and 5 dilated and baby was at 0. She said she wanted me to go for an hour walk and then be checked by my nurse. If I made no progress then I'd go home. I took my walk and got checked............the nurse said I was between a 1 and 2!!!!! She sent me home and didn't care how much I complained. So I donno what's going on in there....and I donno if I wanna go back to see them. They're much too mean to me.

Then I get home and dh talked to the apartment we're supposed to move to...and they said our place won't be ready till the 7th. ok no big deal........but it would have been nice to let us know ahead of time it wasn't going to be ready on the 1st. Then she says she has to refigure out how much our money orders will be. (wait a minute! Hold up! I already made the money orders!!) and then she tells us it'll be MORE expensive.. ..and then says we have to come tomorrow to turn on the utilities (BUT we don't sign the lease till the 7th!? ) UM wow....I was pissed. Maybe it's the frustration over no baby but I told the lady off and so we're not moving there now.

OH BOY!!! What a time you have had lately...first of all...sorry that it was such an ordeal and discomfort to get the cerclage out...2nd that Kianna just wasn't completely ready to just "pop" out into your arms...which by the sounds of it will happen very soon....you are in the homeward stretch and I hope that when you do go back they are much more receptive and considerate of your needs and concerns...

3rdly...sorry to hear about the apt!! That doesn't really make sense that it was going to cost you more and yet you would've been moving in later....If it is meant to be the lady will call back and if she doesn't it wasn't meant to be yours and believe it or not there is something better out there...things happen for a reason...Will keep my fingers X-ed for you and that you will find the right home for you soon!!

Cannot believe the MD could not remove the stitch without all those
hands being 'down there.' That is unbelievable. Perhaps an extra long speculum would have been helpful and a little more visually perceptive.

Stinks about the new apt. Hoping that things will work out.

oh goodness kara! all of that nonsense is just ridiculous! i'm so sorry you had to go through all that. did you ask the nurse for a 2nd opinion? are they even aloud to deny you a 2nd opinion once you ask for one?

i'm sooo sorry about the apartment! around here, you can't turn on the utilities until you have a signed lease and move in date. in which case, they will turn it on ON the move in date. it's probably better you decided against the apartment, sounds really sketchy to me. we had issues similiar to that with our last apartment, and after 3 weeks, i was counting down the days til our lease ended. poor management is even worse when it applies to your home.

Oh honey! You've had a really crappy day, and I'm sorry to hear it. I can't believe all you had to go threw at the hospital. l would have demanded a dr after the nurse checked you. At least you're home and can be comfortable til you go in to labor... Which sounds to be really soon. Or if you have my luck, she'll wait til next wkend and show up for Easter.
As for the apartment, would have told that lady off pg or not. Hopefully you guys will find something nice soon.

Good luck hun and hopefully you're new little one will be in your arms soon.

Thank you ladies! I really appreciate the sympathy. I didn't get too much of that from dh lol He was also going to go for the apt even though it just doesn't sound right!

Today I'm going to my leasing office here to see if they'll let us move to a bigger apt here. All the apt's we can afford down near dh's job are owned by the same management company and I just don't wanna deal with them at all. So hopefully my current place has something open and will let us do that.

lol I'm feeling frustrated.....NO contractions at all! its crazy
I'm still real sore...and plan on going out today. Maybe to the mall and maybe carry Kate too
