Default Blood levels low and many bleeds with 2 new clotting meds

As many of you know, my son Connor has vwD type 1 severe and has been on Stimate for quite awhile.

Well about 1 1/2 weeks ago he went for a DDAVP infusion because he had 7 bleeds in 13 days. He has had several bleeds today and passing clots the size of quarters. I called the Hema and he now is adding Humate-P (finally) and going through a 10 course of Amicar (again).

My concern is his blood levels have been so low lately and all the bleeds are just draining him. He takes his multi-vitiman with extra iron everyday, but what else can I give him to boost his energy and get his levels back up to normal?

Is he eating green leafy veggies, high in iron?

If they are nose bleeds, is he using vaseline on a q-tip each night to keep his nasal lining moisturized?

That is the only thing I have to share. I'm certain somebody else will help with you.

(((Hugs))) and prayers for you DS!
