The answer to your question depends on whether or not you plan to breastfeed at all, whether you're going to exclusively bottle feed.

My guess is that I'm not going to bf....as much as I want that special bond...I'm not sure I can handle it. So the baby will be ff

I have used all different kinds of bottles. Each of my kids liked the basic skinny, narrow bottles and nipples. They are cheaper too!

I think each baby has a preferance too. Maybe buy a couple differnt ones and figure out which one the baby likes best.

I like the playtex drop-ins and I think those are the ones MiaCamille is talking about. I have a whole bunch of them and Ellamae doesn't care for them! Whatever type you decide to get just buy a few to see if she likes them. Ellamae seems to like the bottles that came with my breast pump.

I used the Avent with DS, and I breastfed. That being said, when the next baby arrives I am going to do things differently (don't we always with #2?) and I will be using the Playtex Drop Ins for thoes times I am away from baby.

I like the Playtex drop-ins too! Nevy loves them! It's the only bottle she will use. Plus all you have to do is clean the nipples every night b/c you toss the bags away! So its so much less work and time cleaning them.

Plus if you buy the Medela Quick Clean Micro Steam Bags you can use them to sterilize the nipples to (says so on the box) all you do is put the nipples in, add water and pop them in the microwave for 3-5 mins and your done! You use each bag 20x's and you get 5 bags in a box. They are pretty cheap(about $5 a box)! Since Nevy's been born I've only bought 4 boxs. So its cost me about $15-20 where one of those sterilizer things cost a good $70 or more.
