Default Bowle movements for Clonazepam users.

Hello my name is Michelle, and i am the older (13 year older) sister of a sibling with special needs. My little sister, age 12, has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, we have tried our best with what we know, she is a very happy child, but her inability to move combined with her muscle relaxer medication (Clonazepam 2 MG daily) has left her with no bowel movements. We have asked her physician about this problem and he suggested Mira-lax, however that does not work for her. We tried fiber pills, we tried an intense fiber rich diet, nothing works. Until we came across laxative pills. Just some OTC pills, they work wonders. however her bowel movements are very very large and are sometimes discharged with blood, we have taken her to the emergency room, and they told us the same thing the doc has use Mira-lax. I wanted to know if anyone else out there has had these problems, and what advice can anyone give. I hate to keep her on laxatives but right now we feel like we have no other choice. Can anyone help?
